The Difficult No

A very optimistic word ‘YES’ is very important for any job to be done. May it be the most difficult task to do, there just need to be a determination that ‘Yes, I can do this’. This small word has enough power in itself to make all things happen. But many a times we want to say ‘No, I don’t want to do this’ but still we are doing it and the reason not known to us. The reason is very simple. ‘No’ is considered to be very egoistic.


It is true enough that in many cases when we say ‘YES’ to others we are actually saying a big ‘NO’ to ourselves and feeling blue the whole time. But it’s important to be bold, open enough to keep our thoughts, irrespective of the conclusion what others thinking of us. We have right to speak and we must protest and fight against the circumstances if our heart doesn’t allow us to move in the direction. Atleast we are not ‘people-pleaser’.


It’s good to have some scars than to be clear crystal if this easy word ‘NO’ can make us live more peacefully and tension free. A less burdened life is expected by all, this is in our hands and we cant let others destroy it.
